Swaps and Challenges
Swaps and Challenges Coordinator: Sally Jenks
Super Shares: Share quilts that you finished sometime in the past. Does not need to be completed this month. Can also be quilts that others have made for you, that you picked up at a secondhand store, or whatever happens to fit the theme of that month.
Swaps: Bring in an item in an unlabeled bag and take home one from someone else.
Challenge: Make a block, top, or finished piece that matches the challenge brief.
2026
January: Block of the Month Quilt Super Share (bring in any item that was part of a Block of the Month sew-along or that contains Blocks of the Month)
February: Valentine's Swap (add a sweet treat, wrapped)
March: Weird Holidays Challenge (we have slips of paper to draw from with weird holidays listed on them or choose your own, interpret them as you see fit)
April: Accessories Super Share (bring in your quilted accessories)
May: Sci-Fi/Fantasy Challenge
June: Plant Themed Swap (wrapped)
July: Animal Themed Super Share
August: Lo Volume/Hi Contract Challenge
September: 1-Year Quilt Super Share
October: Halloween/Fall Swap (bring in a fall or Halloween item that you've made in a bag labelled either "Fall" or "Halloween")
November: Charity month (bring in any charity quilts, tops, or blocks this month to be entered into a drawing for a prize)
December: Holiday gift exchange ($25 limit, wrapped)
