Charity Quilts

We donate quilts to the YWCA Women's Shelter in Grand Rapids once a year. The shelter beds are twin sized, and donation quilts should ideally by twin sized, though bigger is fine as well, and we can also accept large throw sizes (at least 50"x70" or larger). You can donate blocks, quilt tops, or finished quilts. You can also help cut kits from donated fabrics, quilt, or bind quilts. Any donations can be given to Anna Gering at the guild meetings or contact 202-731-0279 or DamascSt@gmail.com to arrange for drop off.
